How to teach kids english through bilingual schooling
Young children come to Language House Preschool hearing both English and Japanese.
We have a small group of experienced Japanese and foreign teachers who work together to foster a rich bilingual environment. Our in-house curriculum centers around songs, dances, games, and art from around the world. We support working parents who wish to educate their children in a bilingual environment by providing them with the necessary toilet training, daily living habits and manners for meals.
During early childhood, the foundation of communication skills are being built. Our preschool program will help your child learn to communicate well in the future.
Our bilingual childcare program expands the potential of children to become strong, globally-minded Japanese.
Bilingual Exposure
At our Preschool, our international teachers are an active participant in every part of your child’s day. As a result, ILH preschoolers will increase their English vocabulary, phonics, and listening abilities alongside Japanese.
Scientifically Tested
Our bilingual education starts when children reach 1.7 months. At this age, a child’s neural foundation of language begins to form. As a result, this is the best time period to develop a brain that can switch between Japanese and English.
Creativity & Self-Expression
Our curriculum focuses on singing, dancing, and art from around the world as well as here in Japan. We encourage self-expression and appreciation of all cultures.

  • Education Purpose
Self-discipline and language skills are cornerstones to living in a global society. We focus on education that values Japanese tradition as a means to develop a foundation for children to prepare them for the next 10-20 years.
  • Education Content
The educational methods of Language House are designed and developed in-house. ・English is taught daily in small groups based on our annual plan. (See Parent Handbook). ・We provide Japanese language education through Japanese etiquette. The goal is to help children acquire correct and beautiful Japanese language skills in their early years. ・Physical health is the foundation of a healthy body. At our kindergarten, the following items are part of the daily or weekly program. Daily: morning exercises, jogging in the yard, playing in the sandbox barefoot Once a week: gymnastics class, outdoor walk
  • Performing Arts Education
Our curriculum focuses heavily on dance, music and theater. It is an original program that helps students develop self-expression, self-confidence, cooperation and responsibility.
